The survey agency will delete your contact details and other information from birth and / or health records when their contract ends. For families in phase 1 of the study, we anticipate that this will be in December 2025, though this may be extended.
The contact details from health records are not provided to UCL for any of the families invited to the study. If you participated in the study, the survey agency provided UCL with the contact details collected directly from you. UCL will continue to hold your contact details provided in the interview.
In England, Scotland and Wales, the survey agency provided UCL with other fields from birth and / or health records for all families invited to the study, whether or not they took part. This will be retained for a limited amount of time to understand who does and doesn’t take part in the study. Once the agreements with the data holders expire UCL will delete this information. For families in phase 1 of the study, we anticipate that this will be in December 2025, though this may be extended.
